Val Vibrata is an Italian valley located in the territory on the border between Marche and Abruzzo, located in the province of Teramo. A valley that extends along the Vibrata stream, characterized by hilly landscapes and flat areas, by inland and characteristic localities such as Sant'Egidio alla Vibrata, one of the most populous and industrially rich municipalities, and seaside resorts such as Alba Adriatica, Tortoreto and Martinsicuro , also awarded the recognition of the Blue Flag thanks to their crystalline and turquoise sea.
Thanks to its varied climate, Mediterranean in the coastal areas and submountain in the hilly areas, Val Vibrata is a place where you can travel all year round, appreciating the various seasons with their peculiarities. There are many points of interest to visit in this valley, including the Civitella del Tronto Fortress, a medieval fortification that houses the Historical Museum of Arms and written evidence of the birth and construction of the Fortress itself.
Also worthy of a visit are the Museo della Civiltà Contadina located in Controguerra, where various objects from the past used in ancient crafts are exhibited, and the Museum of Sacred Art in Torano Nuovo. A peculiarity of this area is the new Green Adriatic Corridor, a cycling route that starts in the area of Martinsicuro, passing through Alba Adriatica and ending on the coasts of Tortoreto and Giulianova. A unique and peculiar route, which starts from the green hills and countryside and then flows into and ends in front of the crystal clear Adriatic Sea.
