The recipes of peasant culture represent a precious culinary heritage that has been handed down from generation to generation. Thanks to the book "Acqua & Farina" created within the "Ager 3" project some time ago by the students of the Controguerra state middle school, it is possible to rediscover and appreciate these ancient dishes, which are an expression of a millenary culture and an authentic relationship with the earth.
The book created by the students with the support of the teachers is the result of a research and recovery work carried out with great passion and dedication. The aim of which was to create a real gastronomic treasure that bears witness to the importance of preserving the roots of the peasant culture of Controguerra and its surroundings.
The recipes are often simple and genuine, using seasonal ingredients and local products. Their flavor is unique and authentic, the result of the care and passion that the ancient farmers put into their work. These are dishes that have deep roots in the history and culture of our country, and which bear witness to the way of life and cooking of past generations.
