The werewolf

Descending towards Piane Tronto there was the house of a wiry and hairy gentleman who the children believed could turn into a werewolf. Legend has it that the wife was also aware of the rumors about her husband and that, therefore, every night that he lingered in the village cellar, on his return the woman asked him to show a hand from the crack in the door. That way she could verify that her husband hadn't turned into a werewolf.
