Wine festival (first half of July)

The Wine Festival has been held annually, for over twenty years, in the first half of July. The first edition dates back to 1997, a time when the wines of Controguerra were beginning to obtain the first important national and international recognitions and the Municipality had recently joined the National Association of Wine Cities.
The long series of summer appointments was interrupted after the 2019 (XXI) edition in the Covid-19 era but, like other important events, will resume regularly once the emergency ends.
In recent editions, the Wine Festival, organized by the Circolo Giovani e Anziani di Controguerra, has come to last several days and to involve various artists and musicians. The central theme, however, has always remained wine: during the evenings guided thematic tastings are organized, in which you can discover and appreciate interesting combinations of local and national wines with typical local products and Italian gastronomy.
