He was born in Controguerra on 5 October 1883. He felt a religious vocation from an early age and was consecrated a priest on 6 October 1907. On 12 July 1912 he became parish priest of the Church of Santa Maria a Bitetto. During the Great War he was enlisted as a health sergeant in the XIII Army Corps at the field hospital No. 83. There he is noted for his charity and the comfort given to the sick. In 1935 he contributed significantly to the direction of the XI National Eucharistic Congress held in Teramo. He died on June 3, 1939.
