On the corner of the wall adjacent to the Palazzo Scolastico, right at the crossroads of the three roads going from Controguerra to Colonnella and Corropoli, an artistic composition in majolica was installed in April 2016 that reproduces the municipal coat of arms, extrapolated from the frontispiece of the cadastre ancient, dating back to 1664, and a panoramic view of the town.
On the sides of the representation, always with artistic majolica, two important awards are mentioned that Controguerra boasts, in the wine and olive production: Città del Vino (Wine City) and Città dell'Olio (Olive Oil City). Previously, the space where the municipal coat of arms is installed today housed another composition, depicting a view of the town, but this one irreparably deteriorated during the big snowfall of 2012.
