The new monument to the fallen of all wars was built in 1959, based on a project by the architect. Giandomenico Spinozzi, in an area previously used as a municipal cattle farm. It is a marble obelisk on which a perpetually lit torch is placed. The plan of the obelisk is quadrangular and bears the names of the fallen in the First and Second World War engraved on two sides. This monument symbolically collects the legacy and mission of what was once the Parco della Rimembranza, which no longer exists: to keep alive the memory of the counter-guerrillas who gave their lives for their country and to admonish future generations, so that such great disasters do not never repeat again.
The tree-lined area around the monument has been redeveloped in recent years and now houses a municipal park.
