Cirafella, today colled San Giuseppe

This area was located west of Contrada San Giovanni and east of the Torretta and took its name from a landowner present in the 1664 cadastre, namely Ercolo Cirfella. It also included a ditch located under Villa Quaglia (also called ditch of Faenza). Since 1959, the area has been known as Contrada San Giuseppe, due to the church of the same name.
